At the start of a new year, soccer has kick-started with practises in preparation for leagues in the start of the second term and also for the new Transition Football Academy which was approved by Mr Meyer, Mr Pullen and Mr Koch.

Trials for the Transition Football Academy (organised by Mr and Ms Khan) took place on 22 February 2020 at Potchefstroom High School for Boys (PHSB).

The academy was introduced to a former professional player, Lucky Qaba, who had a successful playing career at Mamelodi Sundowns and who featured in a CAF Champions League Final. They were also introduced to the football director and founder of Transition Football, Claudio Lorenzani. They showed the learners different skills and tactics on how to develop young soccer players.

Overall it was a success and participants of more than 50 learners attended.
